If you would like to donate to Roomp3 you will be contributing towards our server costs, currently for months the developers has been paying for the server monthly out of thier own pocket, minus the advertisement revenue which goes straight back into Roomp3. As most of you know, it costs a lot of time and effort to ensure that a site of this caliber stays up and running. To remain strong and active, we need your help! Since ads werent bringing in sufficient amounts of money. Were not able to gather the needed funds for solving some of our problems on our own. Thats why we decided to start accepting donations, and let you, the visitor, help us keep the site alive and upgrade to faster & better quality servers. As you most certainly understand, with our current traffic its impossible to survive and expand without adiditional funds.
As our traffic reached more than it's maximum , we were forced to limit the download speed and disable the resuming of downloads , guests are limited to download at speed of 25KBps , members at 50KBps .
For donators , if they are registered members of roomp3 , they are able to download at max speed , with ability to resume downloads for several days , depending on how much they have donated for our servers to stay online .
